Types of Automatic Sensor Doors


The Automatic Sensor Doors are for In-door and Out-door for shopping malls and home. There are four types of door.

1. Swing Door
This type is the most common type of door fitted. This door type is the most common easily fitted.
These types of doors open and close by pushing or pulling the door so that the revolving doors on the hinges are located at the ends.

Advantage
Maintenance and Installation is easier.

Disadvantage
Requires larger space because requires to swing the door while opening.

2. Sliding Door
This type door is installed in small space, because it does not need more space. This door goes right and left. It looks very neat for small shopping shops.

Advantage
Requires less space.

Disadvantage
This door type is more difficult to install because it requires precision, and it took a strong rails.
Especially when the wheels slip sliding of the rails will be difficult to return the sliding wheels on track.
3. Folding Doors

The Folding Doors are also same as of sliding door. This has rails too. The different is there are more than one door leaf, and when we slide open it, doors will fold.

This door type usually applied in the garage door, or doors overlooking the garden.

Advantage

Can be open more widely than swing door or sliding door.

Disadvantage

This door type is periodically we have to clean the rails of impurities that can inhibit the sliding wheel.

4. Automatic Revolving Door

These doors are used in hotels, malls or office. This door automatically spinning when there is people’s movement near it.
It’s controlled by the machines with some sensors for the automatic.

Advantage

This door is can maintain the temperature of the room because the door will be closed automatically when no activity.

Disadvantage

It make people to wait for long time.
